Fiskekort salg 2025 Fiskekort til bosatte utenfor Finnmark tilknyttet overnatting, vil ikke bli lagt ut for salg 1. Februar grunnet nysignering av kontrakter med Team-Jakobselv (Varangertunet, Jakobselvkaia, Vestre Jakobselv Camping, Lille Chili og Varanger Fjellstue). Når nye avtaler er inngått, vil kort slipp i denne kort-kategorien være tilgjengelig. Info om kort slipp vil du finne her på Facebook, hjemmesiden (Jakobselva.no) og på Elveguiden.no. Når kortene er tilgjengelige vil evt. nye fiskeregler, kvoter, fisketid og antall tilgjengelige kort være klare. De resterende kort kategoriene vil være tilgjengelig som tidligere (1. Mai og 1. When new agreements have been concluded, card releases in this card category will be available. You will find information about fishing licenses here on Facebook, the website (Jakobselva.no) and Elveguiden.no. When the cards are available, new fishing rules, quotas, fishing time and number of cards available will be clear. The remaining card categories will be available as before (1 May and 1 June). Vestre Jakobselv

Vestre Jakobselv has its source on the Varanger Peninsula and flows into Varangerfjorden 18 kilometers west of Vadsø. The river is about 43 kilometers long and begins in the national park as small stream, growing bigger and bigger on its way out to Varangerfjorden.

Since 2010 the river is considered to be one of Norway's best river for (small) salmon, if not the best.

The salmon stock is mostly filled with small and medium sized salmon, however there are some large salmon as well. The river is salmon-bearing mostly all the way. There is also a nice stock of trout and a smaller stock of char and sea trout. (Oceangoing char is protected)

In the lower part of the river there are 4 waterfalls and salmon stairs has been built in 3 of them. The stairs were built right after World War II. Before the stairs were built, the salmon did not reach the first waterfall, about 3 kilometers from the end of the river. Over the years, several repairs and improvements have been made to the stairs that have allowed the salmon to use the entire river as their spawning grounds.

We thank all volunteer workers and river guards that have done impressive work for the river. 

The river offers an amazing scenery on the way to the fjord. The nature consist of open landscapes in the upper part and canyons and beautiful waterfalls in the lower part. The river is home to animals like eagle,grouse, falcon, elk and reindeer. 

Guidelines on how to purchase a fishing license 

1. Fishing tickets for people outside of Finnmark. 

• For people living outside of Finnmark, can get their tickets at the local tourism businesses: Vestre Jakobselv campingen, Varangertunet, Jakobselvkaia (Pikkuskitsi), Varanger Fjellstue, Jakt og Fiske AS and Lille Chili.
• 24-hrs pass is with overnight stay.
• From the 1st of May 10 day passes will be released for online purchasing at Elveguiden. Maximum of 3 passes per time purchasing.
• Tickets that are not sold within the first day (with overnight stay) will be a part of the lottery.

2. Fishing license for people in Finnmark:

• For people living in Finnmark, can get their ticket at: Varanger Sportslager (Vadsø) og MX Sport (Vadsø) and Vestre Jakobselv campingen.
• To be able to purchase this license, valid documentation of residency is required. This could be tax return documents.

3. Membership in Nord-Varanger Fiskefelleskap.

• To be able to purchase a season license as a member of: Vadsø-, Skallelv-, Komagvær-, Vardø-, Nesseby JFF, you need to living in Nord- Varanger.

There is an additional transaction fee of NOK10 - 45, depending on the amount of the purchase.
