A fantastic beat with good fishing!

Fishing tickets available from December 1st at 12 PM!

On Elveguiden, 5 fishing tickets per day will be sold in 2024, valid from 12 PM to 12 PM the next day. In addition to the fishing ticket , you must also have the Orklakortet 2024 for the Orkla river. More information about Orklakortet 2024 will be provided. Some season tickets are also sold for the Forve beat.

The beat covers a stretch of about 550 meters on both sides of the river, so there is no counter-fishing. The beat is easily accessible, even for those with disabilities. You can drive a car all the way, and it is easy to move along much of the riverbank. The beat fishes well at most water levels but is more challenging when the river has very little water. All types of gear are allowed, including fly fishing, spinning, and others.

Remember to report all catches on the Forve beat to the Orkla "laksebørs" on Elveguiden (the record of catches).
