Fishing tickets for the 2024 season are available

Hoel beat is located on the west side of the Orkla, approximately 8 km north of Berkåk and E6. The beat is about 1.5 km long, with the upper boundary approximately 200 meters upstream from Stamnesbrua, where it borders Stavne Uv 1. The beat extends further from there all the way down to Bergsbruhølen. This is a long, diverse, and relatively easy-to-fish stretch where, regardless of water flow, there are generally pools and spots that fish well.

Fishing in 2024 will be available with 6 daily tickets per day, valid from 12 PM to 12 PM the next day. In addition to the fishing ticket , you must also have the Orklakortet 2024 for the Orkla river. More information about Orklakortet will be provided. Remember to also buy the national fishing fee.

Practical information:

Stamneshølen has a partially very steep riverbank. The river is relatively deep and slow-flowing, and this area is usually a real hotspot on a large and brown river. Further from Stamneshølen, the river gains speed, transitioning into a nice current that eventually leads to Tynnhølen. Many fly fishermen will likely feel very comfortable in Tynnhølen at the outlet of the small river Tynna. From Tynnhølen, the river rushes down through wild rapids towards the part of the beat locally known as "Uti øyain." Here, many fly fishermen will undoubtedly be grinning widely, but users of other types of gear will also enjoy this area. Hoel beat is not particularly sensitive to water flow, and there will always be places on the beat that fish well, regardless of whether the water flow is low, medium, or high. The beat is suitable for and can be fished with all types of gear. Six tickets are sold for this stretch, and in addition, two tickets are reserved for the river owners.
