Rorommet

Fishing in 2024 is available with 4 daily tickets per day, valid from 12 PM to 12 PM the next day. In addition to the fishing ticket, you must also have the Orklakortet. More information about Orklakortet will be provided. Remember to also buy the national fishing fee.

Description of the beat:

Rorommet is an approximately 300m long beat on the eastern bank of the river, about 3 km south of Svorkmo. Unilateral with counter-fishing. Well suited for fly fishing. Shelter with a fireplace and outdoor toilet down by the river. Fishes well on a large river. Sells daily permits, 4 rods per day.

In 2022, a total of 28 salmon were caught on the beat with an average weight of 5.4 kg, where the largest was a beautiful female salmon measuring 101 cm and weighing 10.1 kg.

Also offers accommodation in a house on the farm within walking distance of the beat. 3 bedrooms with 5 beds. Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, stove, freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and TV/radio. Bed linen upon request, mandatory final cleaning applies.

Everyone fishing in the Orkla must have the Orklakortet for the fishing ticket to be valid. Orklakortet can be purchased on the Orkla website on Elveguiden.
