Fishing license, Korgen Camping in Røssåga

Korgen Camping has its own salmon fishing stretch and the site is idyllically located close to the river. Considerable work has been done over many years to facilitate the fishing beat, and it is therefore ideally suited for rod fishing and fly fishing. There is a separate fly zone, and three shelters with fire places have been set up.

After the rotenone treatment of the river in 2004, strict restrictions were introduced for the salmon fishing. This is to help ensure that new salmon strains are established more quickly. Requirements have also been introduced for the disinfection of all equipment. Please contact us for more information.

In the "old days", when English lords were visiting the village to fish every year, you could catch salmon of up to 30 kg, and still today the river can offer an occasional big catch. However, most of the salmon that are caught today are between 5 and 15 kg, while the trout are usually between 2 and 10 kg.

The campsite

Korgen Camping has 5 well-equipped, winter-insulated cabins with one or two bedrooms, living room with internet-connected Smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with toilet and shower. Covered porch. The cabins are available all year round, in winter by reservation only.

In June, July and August, there are also simple standard cabins for rent. During the same period, the sanitary facilities with toilets, showers, washing machine and tumble dryer are available. Duvets and pillows are available in all our cabins.

Korgen Camping has space for approx. 35 caravans/mobile homes/tents. 30 power outlets (220v). Simple kitchen with living room, dining room, barbecue, playground with trampoline.
Free high speed wireless internet available.
