Refunds of fishing tickets

Due to the special circumstances, we are currently receiving a very high number of inquiries from fishermen. We are doing our best to respond to everyone in a good manner, but we ask for your understanding that it may take some time before you receive a reply from us.

We understand that you have questions regarding the refund of your fishing permit due to the river being closed. Please note that the refund terms are described for each specific stretch of the river, and they are determined by the landowner, not by Elveguiden. The general terms of purchase can be found here: https://elveguiden.no/no/kjopsvilkar

In principle, requests of this kind should be directed directly to the landowner. Since this is a special situation, we are working to map out all affected landowners and how they wish to handle potential refunds. The closure of the rivers came suddenly for both us and the affected landowners, and we ask for your understanding that it is time-consuming to gather information from all affected landowners.

Therefore, we ask for a bit of patience, both on our part and on behalf of the landowners, so that we can assist each case individually as best as possible.

If you wish to request a refund of your fishing permit, please do the following:

Send an email to support@elveguiden.no with the following information:

  • Order ID:
  • User ID:
  • Date of the fishing permit(s):
  • Beat
  • River:

We will assist as best as we can based on the guidelines set by the landowners for refunds on their beats. As mentioned, we are currently experiencing a very high number of inquiries, and we ask for your understanding that it may take some time before we can respond to you and your case.

Best regards,
Team Elveguiden
